The MBAchic blog started as an opportunity to write about MBA life, but I just started this Tumblr account to have a more personal space for me to post random thoughts, quotes, photos and more. Today is a day that not many will soon forget. It is tough to watch the memorial. I used to be able to see the World Trade Center in the skyline from my street. I pass by the site almost every day. I can’t help but take a moment to stop and reflect because I’m a New Yorker - and an American - since the day I was born.
However you feel about the 9/11 attacks and mourning and memorials, please take a moment today to kiss or call your loved ones. Consider doing something good for your fellow man - it was a day of terror, but seeing how the entire country came together after the attacks is inspiring. All gave some, some gave all. Don’t forget the lives that were forever changed that day.
